OK, what is happening at your next club meeting?
One, maybe two meetings a year, a club is stuck for a program. A speaker had to cancel at the last minute, or you just couldn't find someone. ARVN programs are a great backup. Your club members will be engaged, entertained, and might even learn something. We don't mind being the backup, though after you've seen a video or two, you might put us in regular rotation.

The documentary programs are all desgined to be played at club meetings. We keep them to about 40 minutes (as Jeff says, the mind can only accept what the butt can endure), and the technical level is not too deep. Our goal is to take you places and show you things that you're not likely to be able to get out and see for yourself.

The seminar videos are often longer, and more technical. But some of them, particularly the ARRL/TAPR DCC programs, are about 45 minutes long, and you can probably find one or two that your club members will enjoy.

Finally, think about establishing a library for your club. ARVN videos are just one part. There are plenty of other videos, books and magazines that club members might not buy for themselves, but would like the club to obtain for loan. That's ideal for us - we're not trying to sell a video to every ham alive, but we would like to sell them to most active clubs. And it's ideal for you - a service your club can provide its members. Maybe individual members will buy a video or book and donate it to the club library.
